Perfection

There was a time I thought I was imperfect, but that's because that's what other people told me.
For two years I fell into a black hole of depression about myself, but I reallized that it didn't
matter how other people saw me, it was how God saw me that mattered.
How many times has someone said nobody's perfect, or Thought you were imperfect?
You have to get that out of your mind, because that is not true. God created us and he is
perfect. He said we were created to be like Him in all things. We might have messed up once,
but God sent his only son to die for our sins, so that we could be perfect in His eyes. So remember everyone, you are perfect in God's eyes!

Brothers Keeper

Who here has a little brother, who always brings his friends over to play? Well I do, and when he brings them over I end up taking care of them. When my brother plays with his friends, there is always an accident. I always end up taking the blame for it, because I never take charge before anything happens. I have to learn to be "The Big Brother" not just another kid. I have try not to be like Cain; he was his brothers keeper and instead of protecting his little brother from harm, he killed him.

To all you "Big Brothers and Sisters" out there- Stand up! Take charge!Be the oldest and know that God is on your side!

Obedience is better than Sacrifice

May 3, 2009 - Sunday

Hey everyone! How many of you can say that they have made big mistakes? Well I can safely say that I have. The mistake that I recently made involves my little brother.

We were inside a clubhouse & we were not suppose to be. We disobeyed our parents but anyway, this club house was falling appart so I tried fixing it while my brother was inside. Something went wrong though, one bad swing and I hit a loose piece of wood, and that wood cut my brothers forehead. All of the sudden he was bleeding alot! I felt like ripping the door off the club house and pulling him out, but he came out screaming so I took him home. Man I was freaked out!!

I had his blood all over my hands & all I could think was, " I hope he's alright!" Later that same day, the Lord spoke to me, He told me, "You are your brothers keeper and when you stop thinking about him- then his blood is in your hands, just like Cain and Abel."
